Glock 19

Glock 19 handguns are some of the best police guns. As with all of the other Glock pistols, the Glock 19 is very accurate and reliable. The Glock 19 is a compact 9 mm gun used by many cops. Check out Police Equipment Reviews Glock 19 review!

The Glock 19 is a compact version of the Glock 17. The Glock 19 is slightly larger than the 9mm subcompact Glock 26. Glock first started producing the Glock 19 in 1988 and was designed specifically for police officers and military personnel. While being smaller than the Glock 17, the Glock 19 still holds up to 15 rounds. Many police officers with smaller hands will carry the Glock 19 as their duty weapon because it is easier for them to grip the gun but they know it will be a reliable addition to their police equipment.

Here are the technical features of the Glock 19:

· Caliber: 9mm
· Weight: 595 g unloaded and 850 g loaded
· Length: 6.85 inches
· Height: 5.00 inches
· Width: 1.18 inches
· Mag capacity: 15 rounds
· Trigger pull: 2.5 kg

Just like all the other Glock guns, there are many Glock holsters and Glock accessories for the Glock 19. Some of those Glock accessories included tactical lights, Hogue grips, and much more. There are many gun holsters reviews that compare and contrast different brands and can help you find the best gun holster for your Glock 19.

According to the Glock site, the Glock 19 is often used as a conventional service weapon but is also suitable for concealed carry or as a back up weapon because of the smaller size and light weight. Many United States Air Force pilots are known to carry the Glock 19 for defense in an emergency situation. The smaller size, along with the Glock reputation, makes the Glock 19 an ideal choice for concealed carry, be it on the job, off-duty, or as a civilian.

Glock got their start when with the Glock 17, which they built when the Austrian military decided they wanted a new service weapon to replace the WWII version they had been using. They put out a 17 point checklist of what they new firearm must include. These 17 points were used by Glock to form the prototype that was eventually adopted by the Austrian military. In the ten years after it was adopted, from 1982-1992, the Glock pistol became one of the most popular pistols worldwide; selling more than 250,000 in the United States alone.

Glock 19 reviews are somewhat mixed about the accuracy of the Glock 19. Some claim they have never had any issues with the Glock 19, while others have tried many different types of ammo and techniques and are not able to achieve the same accuracy they have had with other firearms. Part of this may just be getting used to a new weapon, or even possibly that they bought a used Glock. Overall, most police officers that share Glock reviews, report that having a Glock 19 as part of their police equipment is definitely beneficial and they are happy with the reliability and light weight of the weapon.

Other Glock reviews talk about how easy the Glocks are to clean and maintain and that the trigger pull is very smooth and easy. All of these things are top considerations for any officer in search of the best police equipment. Many Glock reviews also report trying to "mistreat" it, not cleaning the Glock until after shooting several hundred rounds, dropping a mag in the dirt and not cleaning it; and still they report not having no problems with the Glock malfunctioning. The Glock 19 is definitely one of the most popular duty gun and is standard issue for many. Looking for negative reviews about the Glock 19 there just really aren't any. The ones that start out saying they hate a Glock always end up being, "I thought I would hate it" and are backed up with 10 or 20 other people bragging up their Glocks. Over all it seems that you really can't go wrong with a Glock 19, even those that have other Glocks mostly all seem to keep the 19 as part of the Glock firearms.

The Glock 19 is a very good gun, especially if you are looking for a compact gun. Police Equipment Reviews has found the Glock 19 at our local police equipment stores for about $440.00 with fixed sights and $520.00 with Trijicon sights. As always Police Equipment Reviews strongly discourages the buying of used police gear, especially handguns.
