The Surefire 6P flashlight is a compact, high intensity flashlight. The 6P flashlight was designed to be a compact tactical flashlight for police officers, self defense, or general use. The Surefire 6P is made out of aerospace grade aluminum and is operated by a pushbutton on the end of it. The Surefire flashlight is designed to be extremely resistant to scratches and abrasions, making it one of the most durable police flashlights out there. The 6P is about 6 inches long and gives out 65 lumens for one hour. The Surefire 6P costs about $65.00. The Surefire C3 Centurion flashlight is another great tactical flashlight measuring just over 6 inches. The C3 Centurion puts out a smooth, brilliant, pre focused tactical level beam with over five times the light of a two D-Cell flashlight. The flashlight puts out about 105 lumens for 60 minutes. The Surefire C3 Centurion flashlight costs about $125.00. The C3 Centurion flashlight has been discontinued since the time of this review. The Surefire AZ2 flashlight is a dual output LED, high intensity flashlight designed for tactical or duty gear usage. The AZ2 flashlight is about 5.7 inches long, and produces 150 lumens for up to 2 hours. This Surefire flashlight can be used as a spot beam or a flood light. The Surefire AZ2 flashlight provides over seven times the light output of a large 2 D cell batter flashlight and costs about $260.00. The Surefire X300 weapon flashlight is giving Streamlight flashlights a run for the best flashlight for weapons. Just like the Streamlight TLR 2 tactical light, the Surefire X300 is designed to slide onto the rails of your police handgun. The X300 generates 170 lumens of light and can run for 2.4 hours until a new battery is needed. The X300 fits on most guns, including the Glock handguns. The Surefire X300 costs about $275.00. Other law enforcement flashlights that you may want to consider for your police equipment include the G2X Tactical with a max output of 200 lumens. This Surefire flashlight is about 5.20 inches and will run for approximately 2 hours. This surefire light provides a wide beam allowing you to see more of the peripheral area. This is one of the smaller Surefire flashlights and only costs about $95 making it a good option for regular duty use. The G2ZX is only 5.2 inches in length and also have a max output of 200 lumens. This Surefire flashlight is designed specifically for tactical use and features a bright white light of an LED bulb that has no filament to burn out or break, making it virtually indestructible. This Surefire light features a reduced diameter mid section, making it possible for officers to hold this light while handling a gun or other police equipment at the same time. This Surefire light runs about $115. One last Surefire flashlight we will look at is another dual-output LED light known as the E1B Backup. At only 4 inches in length, this is a very compact police flashlight making it ideal for everyday use. This Surefire light puts off about four times the light as a big 2 D cell battery flashlight. Max output is about 110 lumens and it will run for about 1.3 hours. On the low output range of 5 lumens, this Surefire flashlight will run for up to 37 hours. Police officers can expect to pay about $160 for the Surefire E1B Backup flashlight. Once you own a Surefire flashlight, you will always own one. They produce some of the best tactical police flashlights and are reasonably priced. Next time you are your local police gear store, take a look at the Surefire flashlights.
