I recently had the opportunity to wear a pair of the new 5.11 Tactical Gear flannel lined pants during a cold evening when I was called out to work. The flannel lined pants are very similar to the popular Authentic 5.11 Tactical pants. The 5.11 Tactical flannel lined pants are made of 8.5 ounce cotton canvas with a soft, preshrunk 100% cotton flannel lining. Just like the Authentic 5.11 pants, there are seven pockets in the pants to provide you with all the storage that you need.

I normally don't like to wear long johns underneath my pants, but I was very impressed with these pants. The flannel lining felt very natural and was not bulky at all. Other than staying warmer than usual, I hardly noticed that these pants were equipped with the flannel. While the 5.11 Tactical flannel pants cost about $10 more than the Authentic 5.11 pants, I think that is well worth the cost. The 5.11 pants can be purchased at your local police equipment store.
