Spiewak Weather Tech police jacket

Spiewak has been making police jackets and parkas for over 100 years. They take pride in how much attention they pay to every detail of their product, making sure that the consumer gets the best. One of Spiewak's most popular police jacket is the Weather Tech Active Duty jacket.

I have had the Spiewak Weather Tech Active Duty police jacket for over 7 years. I absolutely love it. The jacket is very comfortable and does not restrict me from any activities. The jacket has two large storage pockets on the front that come in handy. I have stood in the pouring rain in this jacket and the jacket takes all the water. I stay completely dry and warm in the jacket. A nice feature is that the jacket has a removable inner fleece liner. Since I work in Southern California I don't need the inner fleece liner that often so I store it in my locker.

The only downside to this jacket is the length. The jacket I own is full length and covers my duty gear belt. My gear is still accessible thanks to some zipper side outs on the side of the jackets, but I think a shorter jacket would have easier access to the duty gear belt. Spiewak does manufacture the Weather Tech Active Duty jacket in a shorter length to resolve this potential issue.

Overall, this is a great jacket. I would highly recommend it for anybody that is looking for a new police jacket. As part of this police equipment review we will look at the features and details of the Spiewak Weather Duty jacket then we will look at some of the other popular Spiewak jackets that are used by law enforcement as part of their best police equipment.
