Safariland Safariland makes police gear used by law enforcement, military, and competition shooters. Safariland designs and manufacturers everything from Safariland holsters, Safariland duty belts, duty belt accessories, body armor, and raid vests. Safariland is based out of Ontario, California and is part of the BAE Systems Products Group. BAE Systems Products group is the 3'rd largest global defense company. With over 97,000 employees, there is no doubt as to why they produce some of the finest quality law enforcement gear. Specifically within Safariland, they have a research and development team comprised of veteran law enforcement officers and champion competitive shooters who know what is best for law enforcement officers and civilian shooters. Safariland is then able to utilize their staff's comprehensive industry knowledge to design, develop and manufacture some of the most innovative and highest quality products in the world. With all their expertise it's no wonder why Safariland is proud to promote their product line by saying, "Innovation not imitation." Safariland is by far the most popular holster brand carried by law enforcement. Nearly 70% of all law enforcement personnel have a Safariland holster. With so many choices available to law enforcement personnel, there is surely a holster that will fit your needs. Safariland specializes in duty gear, competition, and concealment holsters. Their duty gear holsters range from plain leather to basket weave leave to thermal-molded laminate to nylon. Each style of holster offers level I, II, or III retentions levels. In today's world, law enforcement officers are finding they are being placed in situations where time is of the essence. Safariland has taken that thought into consideration and created almost all of their holsters and accessories with the "Molle Locking System." This system allows the officer too quickly change his holster from his duty belt to his tactical gear vest or tactical leg holster if need be. This revolutionarily locking device securely attaches the holster or accessory to the belt or vest by sliding it into a very small, yet very secure locking plate. No more tools or taking apart your entire belt to get to any one accessory on it. Safariland saw the need to lighten up the duty belt so they created the original Nylok survival gear series. They have sense upgraded that series to the Nylok PRO series. This series offers everything from holsters to OC holders to handcuff cases and so many more accessories to put on your ultra light duty belt. The Nylok PRO series is made of durable ballistic nylon. This material allows the product line to keep its weight down while still providing a very durable product line that can stand up to the daily grind of any law enforcement personnel. When it comes to concealment holsters, Safariland offers one of the largest selections of them. They offer concealment holsters ranging from shoulder holsters to paddle holsters to inside the pants holsters. When Safariland designed their concealment holsters, they knew the number one priority of an undercover officer or plain clothes officer was the comfort of their holster. Just like the duty holsters, the concealment holsters are available in a wide range of colors and finishes. More often than not, competition shooters are stuck using holsters that are not designed for their specific needs. After several years of research and development by their expert staff members, Safariland was able to produce their line of competition holsters. With Safariland, the competition shooter has the option to carry a holster designed specifically for them, while still achieving the same high quality that the shooter would expect out of a holster. So whether you are a rookie patrol officer, a seasoned detective, or a competition shooter, Safariland has everything you need to keep you safe and keep you looking good.
