Streamlight TLR 2 tactical light Streamlight is one of the leading manufactures of flashlight and police equipment for law enforcement. Although Streamlight is best know for its traditional flashlights, they produce some of the best tactical lights for handguns. I currently have a Glock 22 as my duty weapon with a Streamlight TLR 2 tactical light affixed to it. I will have to say right off the get go that the only thing I dislike about having the Streamlight TLR 2 affixed to it, is the lack of holsters that can accommodate this set up. I started my career with a Safariland model #070 level 3 holster and had to switch to a Safariland ALS holster. I have gotten use to this holster, but would still prefer to have the level 3 holster on my hip. The very first night I had the Streamlight TLR 2 on my Glock, I had to conduct a felony hot stop on a subject. It was an awesome sight. Anybody that saw the red laser on the suspect, including the suspect, knew I meant business. Clearing buildings at night time is so much easier. I am able to keep both of hands securely on the weapon and not worry holding my Streamlight UltraStinger flashlight. I have had to replace the battery about two times since I started using the TLR2. They are very cheap and this is not an issue. Purchasing the Streamlight TLR 2 has been one of the best police equipment purchases that I have made. The price was about $300 and well worth every penny of it. I would highly recommend the Streamlight TLR 2.
