The Base Layer consists of turtlenecks, mocks, dickies, and performance tees. Elbeco offers the Base Layer in a regulation model or the Ufx model. The Ufx models are designed to feel like cotton, but manufactured out of 100% synthetic microfiber polyester. The Ufx models are designed to wick the moisture and dry faster.

These shirts use the X-EEDE permanent anti-odor, rapid wicking, and quick drying technology. They have a tagless neckline and are rated as good UV protection. Generally priced below $20 these performance tees are available in size ranges from small to 4 extra large and come in black, dark navy blue, HiVis yellow, and white.

We didn’t find a lot of actual user reviews of the Elbeco Ufx Performance Tees but we will tell you a little about the experience Police Equipment Reviews has had with them. About two years ago when my department issued me two pairs of the Elbeco Tek Twill police uniforms to test out, they also gave me two Elbeco Ufx Performance Tees to try out. Prior to this, I had only worn normal cotton tees underneath my uniform.

I wore the Elbeco Ufx Performance Tees for a few months. I stopped wearing them because I did not like them. They made my chest itch a lot while I was wearing them underneath my body armor. Another reason why I stopped wearing them was because they smelled bad. It wasn’t a body odor smell. I’m not really sure how to describe the smell other than bad!

Overall, I will never wear the Elbeco Ufx Performance Tee shirt again. I would highly recommend that anybody looking for an undershirt look at another manufacturer like Under Armour.

These Elbeco turtlenecks are available in black or dark navy blue in sizes ranging from small to 4 extra large.

An optional feature of the Elbeco turtleneck is to have initials embroidered on the collar.
