Elbeco Tek Twill police uniforms Elbeco Tek Twill Uniforms- Some of the best police uniforms are made by Elbeco including the Elbeco Tek Twill police uniforms. In this Elbeco TekTwill uniforms review by Police Equipment Reviews you will learn all you need to about them. Elbeco has been making police uniforms since 1907. They make some of the most popular police uniforms worn today by police officers. I had the opportunity about two years ago to be introduced to Elbeco police uniforms when my department was looking into adding Elbeco to our department policy as an authorized uniform. A select few of us were given some Elbeco police uniforms to test and review. After the trial, the department ended up adding Elbeco to the authorized list of police uniforms. I have never been a fan of class A or class B uniforms. Luckily for me, my department allows us to wear BDU tactical uniforms on a daily basis. I love the comfort of them and the added cargo pockets. I was given two pairs of the Elbeco Tektwill utility uniforms to try out. One set of them would be taken to the dry cleaner, and the other set would be washed at home. The Tektwill uniforms are a polyester/cotton combination and are suppose to maintain their color even when machine washed. I have worn the two Tektwill police uniforms for about two years now and they both look like they are brand new. For about the first year, I kept up with the program of taking one pair to the dry cleaners and one pair washed at home. After a year or so, I did not notice a difference in the color, so I now only wash them at home. The Tektwill uniforms are also very comfortable and have not shown any wear and tear around the waist from my police equipment duty belt. There is nothing that I dislike about the Elbeco Tektwill police uniforms. The Tektwill uniforms are the same price as the other BDU tactical uniforms made by the other manufactures. As part of this police equipment review we would like to take a look at some of the technical specifications of the Tektwill police uniforms. TekTwill Shirts The TekTwill shirts are made from a special nano fluid repellant fabric that has 40+ UV protection from the son that protects you and keeps the material from fading. In addition the fabric maintains breathability and keeps fluids from penetrating through to your skin. The fabric is 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Some additional features of the TekTwill shirts include:
These features are found on the Elbeco site. The TekTwill shirts are machine washable and come in sizes ranging from small to 2 XL and are available in a short, regular or long cut. Now let’s take a look at the TekTwill trousers to see some of the technical specifications. The TekTwill trousers have the same non fluid repellent and UV protection features that are found in the TekTwill shirts. For this part of our police equipment review we will focus on the features listed on the Elbeco site for the TekTwill trousers:
TekTwill trousers are available in sizes from 28 to 58 and come only in regular length. Overall, these pants look great, wear great, and feel great. You really can’t go wrong with the TekTwill trousers or the TekTwill shirts. In addition, Elbeco makes a TekTwill cap as part of your police equipment to match the TekTwill shirts and trousers. Elbeco makes police uniforms that you will be proud to wear. I highly recommend the Elbeco Tektwill police uniform to anybody that is looking for a high quality, comfortable, professional looking police uniform.
